Artist, Amy Labourne will show her recent work focussing on war related ruins in Shetland. The exhibition is in the Foyer corridor.
Amy says of her work:
‘For over a year now I’ve made visits to Shetland’s war-ruin sites, in particular during August 2015 whilst staying at Sumburgh Head Lighthouse as artist-in-residence. Living for a month at this windswept headland, itself the site of World War II radar operations, gave insight into these lonely ruin-sites, located at the peripheries of our occupied environment and all-too-often overlooked.'
