A new online Archives catalogue has been launched today (Tuesday 8 August) at the Shetland Museum and Archives.
The new online catalogue contains over 120,000 descriptions of records and books from the Shetland Archives Collection. A number of items, paper and audio, have been digitised, and around 700 are available online. Users can now search and download high quality images and audio recordings from anywhere in the world.
The Shetland Museum & Archives are holding drop-in sessions in the Searchroom where the archives team will be on hand to provide demonstrations of the new online catalogue and answer any of your questions. Come along and familiarise yourself with the new system:
