Do you want to get hands-on with real museum objects?
Have you ever wanted to learn how to produce 3D photographic models?
If the answer's yes, then this workshop is for you! No previous knowledge or expertise required.

  • Join us for this free introduction to photogrammetry and learn the basic skills for creating your own 3D models. 
  • Find out about how to present and share your work via Sketchfab, annotations, audio, and more. 
  • Explore and interpret objects from Shetland Museum’s collections and create images for 3D modelling.
  • Contribute to an online exhibition and displays for show across Orkney and Shetland. 
  • Contribute to collaborative research into how people connect with their heritage.
