Join us for a fun-filled workshop where bairns can get creative and design their very own spooky Shetland lantern!
Using tissue paper and a mix of crafty materials, each child will decorate a jar with a Halloween twist, before adding a safe, battery-powered light to bring their eerie creation to life. Perfect to light the dark Shetland nights!
We will then head into the trowie knowe with our lanterns lit and hear a spooky story from Shetland’s past.
We encourage parents to stay for the duration of the workshop if they feel their child may need extra support during the activities.
