What is a Broch and who built them? Learn about Shetland’s Brochs and life in the Iron Age, gathering inspiration from objects in our galleries. Your child will make their own Broch Tealight Holder using air-drying clay to take home at the end of the session.
A battery powered tealight is included in the price.
Please bring a small box to safely take your creation home and ensure children wear aprons/old clothing as this is a messy workshop.
If you are leaving your child for the duration of the workshop, please be sure to fill out a consent form given to you by our team. We encourage parents to stay for the duration of the workshop if they feel their child may need extra support during the activities.
