Brian Chapman has a fascinating collection of original Seagull engines in various stages of repair and restoration. In additional to a display of the engines, Brian will challenge you to start one – do you have what it takes? Originally known as ‘the best outboard motor in the world’, the British made Seagull engines were a common sight on many traditional Shetland boats. The engines will be on display during the week, with demonstrations and a chance to get ‘hands on’ with the engines from 11am – 1pm Monday to Saturday. Please note that only visitors aged 14 and over will be permitted to start the engine for safety reasons.
