Appeal for items for Hamefarin exhibition
Did you or your ancestors emigrate from Shetland? Shetland Museum and Archives are developing a special exhibition for the 2010 Hamefarin and need your help.
The exhibition will tell the stories of islanders who emigrated from as far back as the 1500s up to the present day. We are especially interested in photographs or paintings of islanders in their new lives, as well as any artefacts and documents which can help to tell their story.
